Book Review- “Les Just Not Be Only Friendz (I)”

A Troubled Love Story in Disguise

Hi everyone,

Good evening!

I’m again with a book review here- Les Just Not Be Only Friendz (I)- a Troubled love Story in Disguise“, which is written by Vikash Sharma.

Description:

The author dedicated the book to all his friends and to all those who truly believe in friendship. He wrote the book as first person. This is his first book. It’s a trilogy, means you are going to read three stories in a book-  super cool friendship,  up and downs of career and a Troubled love Story.

About the author: . Vikash Sharma was born in Haryana in 1987. He has travelled various states of India, to explore the lives of people, places, languages, cultural differences, festivals, religions and the rest.

He currently lives in Mumbai.

He is a freelance writer, photographer, traveller, producer and a filmmaker.

He believes in wandering, seeking happiness in small things and sharing it with people.

‘Les just not be only friendz(I)’ is his first novel. He is currently working on the second part of the trilogy of ‘Les just not be only Friendz’.

My view on the book: *Les Just Not Be Only Friendz (I)*, is a troubled love story, dedicated to the believer of friendship and the friends of the author. It is a trilogy novel.

So there are 6 elements of a Nobel. Let’s see how the novel goes with elements.
*1) Goal* : As it is a love story, and I think love stories don’t have any goal, but to please and entertain the readers. And the book entertained me!
*2) Plot* : The novel is of autobiographical genre. It is less a love Story, but more a troubled life story of a bachelor/student.
*3) Characters* : There are enough characters in the story. Readers want ideal characters, oh yes, Aakash, the leading character is an ideal lover boy, like he could do anything for his love, and Dheeru, friend of Aakash, not an ideal as a person, but an ideal friend. He drinks, he abuses all the time, but he cares for his friend in trouble. Here I must admit, a  person nowadays is not a person he actually is, but a person who, the world made  it. Rest the characters player their roles, as they should have played.
*4) Conversation* : Not so lengthy, not so short.

*5) Language* : Easy to understand. Many curse words have been used in the conversation, but that was the need of the story. As per the background, language suits the story. Many will dislike the novel just coj the language, but what’s wrong there in writing the truth!

*6) Background* : Delhi, NCR region is in background.

The story took more time than usual to lost me in it. Starting of the story is kinda boring. Yes, I came to know about a new field, film school life and I enjoyed it. A description of *Vaishnodevi Trip* is there in the story, which travellers can relate with their Vaishnodevi trip.

As it is a trilogy novel, means there are three stories: friendship, career and love story. At some last chapters, I liked when the lover boy revealed all the secrets about him to his girl.      At the very last chapter, I found it an incomplete novel and that’s why the author is writing the second part of it.
Star Rating: It’s difficult to rate it, untill I read the next part.
